Will Montgomery - Pitch and 2009(5)

'Pitch', Will Montgomery's audio collaboration with the poet Carol Watts forms part of an exhibition of text-sound works at the worksetting gallery in Hudderfield from 1 December until late January. The exhibition collects a number of responses to the music of Italian composer Luigi Nono. 'Pitch' was included by the poet Caroline Bergvall in a playlist of voice/text audio works broadcast on French internet radio in November 2010:

Will's interpretation of Swiss composer Manfred Werder's score 2009(5), which is based on a text by the French poet Francis Ponge, is released by the Cathnor label.
