Dr. Christie Carson has been a member of the International Shakespeare Association since 2000 and has attended two World Congresses, one in Valencia, Spain 2001 and one in Brisbane, Australia 2006. Website http://www.shakespeare.org.uk/content/view/442/446/
She has been a member of the British Shakespeare Association since its founding in 2002 and has attended all four of its biennial conferences in Leicester 2003, Newcastle 2005, Warwick 2007 and London 2009. Most recently she organised a day on teaching postgraduates and the PhD at Birkbeck
