The symposium will bring together scholars working on a range of issues related to this forgotten art, and will close with a reception and rehearsed reading of dialogues by Jane Austen.

Speakers include Abigail Anderson, Stuart Andrews, Helen Brooks, Michael Dobson, Elaine McGirr, Jane Milling and Helen Nicholson.

Performance only: £10
Symposium only: £35
